It's Fine Art ... Only Is It Rubbish?

An illustration of Ms Takahashi's installation art, from the Norwich Gallery

Ananova reports that an exhibit entitled My Play-Station, past times Japanese creative someone Tomoko Takahashi, has been position on display at London's Serpentine Gallery. This exhibit features 7,600 pieces of junk, including quondam washing machines, broken toys in addition to a rusty muck-spreader. Curator Rochelle Steiner said:
"This demo is giving these objects to a greater extent than or less other use. Games come upwards alongside rules, in addition to she's actually interested inwards how alongside rules comes order, how y'all interruption out of order, in addition to the human relationship betwixt gild in addition to disorder."
likes the stance of defining an artwork inwards price of rules that flora order: this is a really lawyer-ish affair to do. But Merpel asks, what close the rules of copyright? Do they apply hither too?

likes Gavin Turk's rubbish best: he keeps it tidier ...
